Section 18, The Environment Protection Act, 2000

(1) An applicant shall, where a decision has been taken that a project so requires, prepare and submit to the Director an environmental impact assessment in respect of the project.
(2) An environmental impact assessment shall contain the information set out in the Third Schedule.
