Section 18, The Bank of Sierra Leone Act, 2000

(1) All appointments of officials and other employees of the Bank shall be only to positions created by decision of the Board and on such terms and conditions as shall be laid down by the Board. (2) No salary, fee, wage or other remuneration or allowance paid by the Bank shall be computed by reference to the net or other profit of the Bank.
