Section 7, The Insurance Act, 2000

(1) The Commission may for the discharge of its functions appoint such committees as may be necessary which shall consist of members of the Commission or non-members or both and may assign to them such functions as the Commission shall determine. (2) A member of the Commission shall be appointed chairman of such committee. 10 No. 5 Insurance Act 2000 (3) The members of a committee shall be paid such allowances as the Commission may determine.
