Section 31 of the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2009 isamended by the insertion of the following new subsection immediately after subsection (3)– “(4) Every registered GST trader shall in the ordinary course of business, maintain an electronic cash register as may be determined by the Commissioner-General for the purpose of recording all transactions.”
