Section 13, The Right to Access Information Act, 2013

A public authority which, in relation to any request forinformation, is to any extent relying on a claim that information is exempt information shall, within the time limits for complying with section 2, notify the applicant in writing stating– (a) that the information is exempt; (b) the specific exemption in question; and (c) why the exemption applies.
