Section 1, The Sierra Leone Guinea Relations Act, 1966

The aforesaid Protocol of Agreement is hereby ratifiedand confirmed and all rights and obligations purported to be con ferred or imposed thereby are hereby declared valid any law (other than the Constitution) notwithstanding and notwithstanding anything in any law (other than the Constitution) contained the Governor-General or any other person shall have power to do on behalf of the Government any act which the said Protocol of Agreement may require or allow in the name of the Governor General or of the Government.
