(1) A person shall not operate as driving instructor unlesshe- (a) has passed the prescribed examination; (b) holds a current driving licence granted under this Act; (c) is mentally and physically fit to act as an instructor; and (d) is registered as an instructor. (2) A person referred to in subsection (1) shall only be registered as an instructor in respect of a class of motor vehicles which he is licensed to drive.
