Section 58, The Road Traffic Act, 2007

(1) Subject to Part VII, the Authority may appoint vehicleexaminers for the purpose of carrying out the functions conferred on
it by this Act or under any other enactment.
(2) A vehicle examiner appointed under subsection (1)
shall act under the general directions of the Authority.
