Section 84, The Child Right Act, 2007

The following shall be considered by a Family Court asevidence of parentage:– (a) the name of the parent entered in the register of births; (b) performance of customary ceremony by the father of the child; (c) refusal by the parent to submit to a medical test; (d) published acknowledgement of parentage; and (e) any other matter that the Family Court considers relevant.
