Section 96, The Child Right Act, 2007

(1) A maintenance order made by a Family Court shallexpire when the child attains the age of eighteen years or dies before
that age.
(2) A maintenance order shall lapse before the child attains
the age of eighteen years, if before that age the child is gainfully
employed.
