Section 2, Civil Aviation Act, 2017 for an effective aviation safety and security

This Act and any regulations made under it apply, exceptwhere expressly excluded under this Act or regulations - (a) in or over any part of Sierra Leone; (b) to citizens of Sierra Leone; (c) to, and to persons on, aircraft registered in Sierra Leone or operated by a Sierra Leonean air operator or aircraft operated by an ai operator who has his principal place of business or permanent residence in Sierra Leone, wherever they may be; (d) to, and to persons on an aircraft, for the time being in or over Sierra Leone; and (e) to holders of licenses and certificates when exercising the privileges associated therewith outside Sierra Leone.
