Section 47, Civil Aviation Act, 2017 for an effective aviation safety and security

Where it is alleged by an interested party that a foreignaircraft, other than an aircraft to which section 51 applies, which is making a passage through or over Sierra Leone, infringes in itself or in any part of it any invention, design or model which is entitled to protection in Sierra Leone, it is lawful, subject to and in accordance with the Rules of Court, to detain the aircraft un infringement such sum as may be agreed by the parties (in this section Chicago referred to as "the deposited sum").
