(1) The Director shall, with the approval of the Minister,appoint on a full-time or part-time basis for the purposes of
conducting accident and incident investigations such number of
Accident Investigators and other support personnel as may be
necessary to discharge the functions of the Directorate.
(2) An Accident Investigator shall be a person properly
trained in the investigation of aircraft accidents and incidents.
