Section 83, Civil Aviation Act, 2017 for an effective aviation safety and security

(1) On completion of an investigation into an accident orincident the Director shall prepare a report of the investigation and submit it to the Minister. (2) The Director shall, prior to submitting a final report to the Minister, provide a copy of the draft report or a relevant part thereof on a confidential basis to the civil aviation authorities, operator of the aircraft involved in the accident or incident, the owner or operator of the aerodrome at which the accident or incident occurred where applicable, and to any other person who has a direct interest or whose reputation is likely to be adversely affected by the report and consider any representations that may be made to him by or on behalf of any such persons.
