Section 85, Civil Aviation Act, 2017 for an effective aviation safety and security

(1) At any stage of the investigation, the Director shallrecommend to the appropriate authorities, including those in other States, any preventive action that it considers necessary to be taken promptly to enhance aviation safety. (2) The Director shall address when appropriate, any safety recommendations arising out of its investigations in a dated transmittal correspondence to the accident investigation authorities of other state concerned and to International Civil Aviation Organisation , when International Civil Aviation Organisation documents are involved.
