Section 98, Civil Aviation Act, 2017 for an effective aviation safety and security

(1) The Government or any person or other Authoritymay- (a) establish and maintain aerodromes; and (b) provide and maintain in connection with aerodromes, roads, approaches, apparatus, equipment and buildings and other accommodation, in accordance with this Act. (2) The Government or any person or other authority may, for the purpose of exercising the powers conferred by subsection (1), acquire land or any right in or over land by agreement or in accordance with any law in force relating to the acquisition of land for public purposes.
