Section 14, The National Commission for Social Action Act, 2001

(1) The Commission shall have a Commissioner and a Deputy Commissioner both of whom shall be appointed by the President subject to the approval of Parliament. (2) No person shall be appointed a Commissioner unless he has proven knowledge and ability in the management of development projects or in the management of an organisation similar to the Commission or both.
