Section 9, The Statistics Act, 2002

(1) The Council may for the discharge of its functions appoint one or more Committees to perform such functions as the Council may determine. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), the Council shall appoint a Statistical Coordinating Committee and a National Census Advisory Committee consisting of such members and performing such functions as the Council may determine. (3) A Committee shall submit the report of its proceedings to the Council at such time as the Council may determine.
