Section 15, The Protection From Radiation Act, 2001

For the purposes of this Act, any department of Government, public or statutory body, board or local authority which for the purposes of performing its functions uses or is required to use radiation shall comply with the provision of this Act in the same manner and to the same extent as any other person using radiation.
