Section 1, The Political Parties (Amendment) Act, 2002 [Margin: Short title.]

The Political Parties Act, 2002 is amended by the repeal and replacement of section 31 with the following:— [Margin: "Commission's power to enlarge time.] 31. The Commission may, where the circumstances so require, by order, enlarge or reduce the time prescribed in this Act for the giving of any notice or for the doing of any act or thing".
