Section 6, The Public Emergency Regulations, 2020

(1) An authorised person shall conduct surveillance,including house to house searches to identify persons suspected to be infected with the corona virus disease or to identify persons who have come in contact with a person infected with the corona virus disease. (2) A person suspected to be infected with the corona virus disease or to have come in contact with a person infected with the corona virus disease shall provide to an authorised person, information relating to– (a) persons with whom he had been in contact; (b) places which he had visited that may have exposed him to the corona virus disease; (c) any other information relevant to identifying his contact with person or places infected with the corona virus disease.
