Section 33, The Education Short title

(1) Every school in which more than one teacher is Appointd.employed shall have a head-teacher, who shall be appointed in fu~~~i~~s of the case of a Government school by the Director, in the case of ~ea~ an assisted school by the proprietor thereof or the manager eac ers. acting on his behalf with the approval of the Director, and in the case of a private school by the proprietor thereof or the manager acting on his behalf. (2) The head-teacher of a school shall be responsible, subject in the case of a Government school or assisted school to any regulations made by the Director under section 50, for the general control and supervision of the instruction and discipline and for the organisation of the classes therein.
