(1) The Council may from time to time make standing orders, not Standinginconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance, to ensure due notice being Orders. given to members of the meetings of the Council and to regulate the proceedings of the Council, a Local Committee and of any committee of the Council appointed under sub-section (2) of section 16 of this Ordinance, (2) The standing orders for the time being in force shall be followed and observed by the Council, a Local Committee and any committee of the Council respectively.
