(I) This Ordinance may be cited as the Rural Area (2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on the first day
of January, 1950, or.on such later date or dates as the Governor
in Council may by Order appoint:
Provided that in any such Order the Governor in Council
may suspend the coming into operation of any of the provisions
of this Ordinance, and such provisions shall not take effect until
the Governor in Council shall by further Order so appoint.
