"f · · · h" h proceedmgs IS WI e, or partner any pecumary mterest, or m w IC a com- · · pany of which he is a shareholder has any such pecuniary interest; and no member of the local authority shall receive any salary or shall, save with the approval of the Governor, exact or accept any fee or reward whatsoever for on account of anything done or to be done by him by virtue of this Ordinance, or on any account whatsoever relating to this Ordinance: Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to debar a President appointed by the Governor from receiving his salary as an officer in the public service.
