Section 17, The Motor Vehicles (Third ~~~rt title arty Insurance) Ordinance

Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, where a sum Deposits.is deposited by any person under the provisions of section 5 or as a condition of approval by the Governor in Council under the provisions of section 7 or section 8 neither that sum nor any part thereof shall, so long as any liability being a liability required to be covered by a policy of insurance under this Ordinance which has been incurred by such person remain undischarged or otherwise unprovided for, be applicable in discharge of any other liabilities incurred by such person.
