If b · d d h' 0 din b k registratiOnrocure, 1mse to e reg1stere un er t IS r ance y rna - by false fng or producing, or causing to be made or produced, any false r~presenta or fraudulent certificate, representation or declaration, either twns. verbally or in writing, and any person aiding or assisting him therein, shall be deemed guilty of an offence, and shall on conviction thereof be liable to pay a fine not exceeding fifty pounds, or to be imprisoned, with or without hard labour, for any term not exceeding one year.
