Section 45, The Post Office Savings Bank (Rate of Interest) Order

The Postmaster General may enter into arrangements Arrang;.·with the Post Office Savings Bank of the United Kingdom of ::~!~er~\o Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or with any Government an~ from Savings Bank of any British Dominion, Colony, Protected State ~o:~rnment or Protectorate or any territory in respect of which a mandate ~~s on behalf of the United Nations is being exercised by Her an · Majesty, for the transfer of any sums standing to the credit of depositors from such Savings Banks to the Sierra Leone Post Office Savings Bank and for the transfer of sums standing to the credit of depositors in the Sierra Leone Post Office Savings Bank to such other Savings Banks.
