For the purposes of undertaking research into and investigation ofproblems and matters relating to the oil palm and its products, and for the
provision of information and advice relating to the oil palm, there is hereby
established an Institute to be called the West African Institute for Oil Palm
Research (hereinafter referred to as the Institute).
