Section 4, The West African Institute for Oil Palm Research Ordinance, 1951

(1) The Director of the Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Director) Appointmentshall be such person as the Secretary of State may appoint, and he shall hold of Director. office during the pleasure of the Secretary of State. (2) When the Director is through absence, illness or other good cause unable to discharge the duties of his office, the Secretary of State may appoint a person temporarily to discharge such duties.
