Section 81, Cap 196

No person whether civil or military, while in the serviceof the Government of Sierra Leone, shall directly or indirectly acquire or hold any right or interest under any prospecting right, exclusive prospecting licence or mining right or mining lease, and any licence, right or lease or other document or transaction purporting to confer any such right or interest on any such officer shall be null and void.
