Section 49, The Liquor Licensing Short title Ordinance

If any person being the manager for, or the servant of,or authorised to act for, a licence-holder shall do any act or thing or be guilty of any omission which if done or omitted by the lice11ce-holder would constitute an offence by the licence-holder both such person and the licence holder shall be liable to the penalties prescribed by this Ordinance for such offence, unless the licence-holder shall prove that such act, thing or omission was done or made without the knowledge or consent of the licenceholder" Evidence of sale or consumption of intoxicating liquor. Both employer and employee liable for offences of latter.
