Section 52, The Liquor Licensing Short title Ordinance

Subject to the provisions of any rules made under thelast preceding section, at the trial of any appeal to the Supreme Court under this Ordinance, the procedure shall, as near as circumstances will admit, be the same, and the Judge shall have the same powers, jurisdiction and authority as if he were trying a civil action, and witnesses shall be subpoenaed and sworn in the same manner, as near as circumstances will admit, as in the trial of a civil action in the Supreme Court, and shall be subject to the same penalties for perjury.
