Section 11, The Friendly Societies Short title and Ordinance

Any deposit ·of money made in the Savings Banks for, or Persons whoon behalf of, a Friendly Society, and any interest which shall :~~e;aw accrue thereon, may be withdrawn by, and paid to, the person be~onging to or persons whose names shall for the time being be mentioned ~~~~~~~ on the said register as entitled to receive the payment of the same out of the Savings Bank for, and on behalf of, the said Society, and shall have been published in the Gazette not less than one month prior to the date of such payment; and the receipt of such person or persons for any money so received by him or them, shall be a sufficient discharge to the Treasurer or other officer paying the same, and to the Government.
