Section 5, The Friendly Societies Short title and Ordinance

It shall be the duty of the Registrar General, and he ishereby required upon receipt of the appointed fee from the person making such return or requiring any act or thing to be done as hereinafter provided, to register every return made in conformity with the provisions of this Ordinance in a book to be kept for that purpose at the office of the Registrar General, and called the Register of Friendly Societies, and to make any entry in, or endorsement on, the register of the statement of the change of any of the circumstances, and the particulars thereof, as hereinafter mentioned; and immediately thereafter to cause to be published in the Gazette the fact of such registration and the name or names of the person or persons registered as entitled to make deposits or receive payments for, and on behalf of, the Friendly Society as aforesaid, and of such change of circumstances and the particulars thereof.
