Section 23, The Debtors' Ordinance

The Court may, if it thinks fit, adjourn the examinationfrom time to time, and require from the judgment debtor such
security for his appearance at the adjourned hearing as it thinks
fit, and, in default of his finding security, may commit him
to prison, there to remain till the adjourned hearing, or may
discharge him from custody.
