Upon any person committed to prison under section 31• of this Ordinance satisfying the judgment or decree, or upon the request of the judgment creditor, it shall be lawful for the Court to make an order for the liberation of the person so imprisoned, to take effect either immediately, or after he has been imprisoned for such portion of the term of imprisonment ordered as the Court in its discretion may think fit to appoint. 181.
