(1) The Central Bank shall not grant a dealer’s or abroker’s licence unless there is with the Central Bank at the time of the application for the licence, a deposit in such amount as the Central Bank may prescribe in respect of the licence. to grant or renew licences and to impose conditions. 16 17 No. 4 Other Financial Services (Amendement) Act 2007No. 4 Other Financial Services (Amendement) Act 2007 (2) A deposit required under subsection (1) shall be in cash or in such other form as the Central Bank may in any particular case direct. (3) All amounts paid under this section shall be deposited in an account at a bank approved for that purpose by the Central Bank. (4) A deposit lodged under subsection (1) shall be applied by the Central Bank subject to and in accordance with regulations made under this Act.
