Section 19, The Finance Act, 2015

Section 26 of the Customs Act, 2011is amended byinserting the following new subsection immediately after subsection (7) – “(8) Importers of petroleum products shall pay a minimum of 50% duty and taxes assessed upon submission of goods declaration to the Customs Department at the point of entry prior for warehousing.”
