Section 85 of the Customs Act, 2011 is amended byinserting the following new subsection immediately after sub section (4)–
“(5) Notwithstanding section 15 of the National
Revenue Authority Act, 2002, the Authority shall not delegate
the process of licensing a customs clearing agent as contain
in subsection (2), to any person outside the office of the
Commissioner-General.”
