Section 172, The Mines and Minerals Act, 2009

Any person who fails to deliver any document required tobe delivered under this Act within fourteen calendar days of being called upon to do so by the Director, commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction shall be on conviction to a fine not less than two thousand United States Dollars or its equivalent in leones or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both.
