Section 23, The Mines and Minerals Act, 2009

(1) A mineral right shall be in such form as may beprescribed.
(2) A mineral right shall specify-
(a) the date of the grant of the mineral right and
the period for which it is granted;
(b) a description of the area over which it is
granted; and
(c) the conditions on which it is granted.
