Section 26, The Medical Examiners Act, 2021

(1) The activities of the Office of Medical Examiner shallbe financed by funds consisting of- (a) monies appropriated from time to time by Parliament for the purposes of the Office of Medical Examiner; (b) monies given to the Office of Medical Examiner by way of gifts, bequests, grants or other contributions by persons and organisations for the purposes of the Office of Medical Examiner; and (c) all other monies which may, from time to time, accrue to the Office of Medical Examiner. (2) The funds of the Office of Medical Examiner shall be applied only for the purposes of the approved budget of the Office of Medical Examiner.
