Section 14: Exemptions etc. from registration.

(1) A ship is exempt from registration where it is—a) an air cushioned vehicle not engaged in trade;
b) less than twenty metres in overall length;
c) in the opinion of the Registrar, of traditional build.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), an exempt ship may be registered in accordance with this Part.
