Section 138, REPEALED THE CONSTITUTION OF SIERRA LEONE 1978-12

(1) Power to appoint persons to hold or act in the office to which this Section applies (including power to makeappointments on promotion and transfer from one office to another and to confirm appointments) and to remove persons so appointed from any such office shall vest in the President. (2) The offices to which this Section applies are the offices of Ambassador, High Commissioner, or other principal representative of Sierra Leone abroad, the Commanders of the Armed Forces, and the Commissioner of Police. (3) No person shall be appointed to any of the offices to which this Section applies or continue in any such office unless he is a member of the Recognised Party.
