(1) An authorised officer shall, when exercising any ofthe powers conferred by this Act on request, produce identification
to show that he is an authorised officer.
(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act, no person
shall be deemed to have committed an offence under this Act where
an authorised officer refuses or fails to comply with a request to
produce identification pursuant to subsection (1).
