(1) No person shall, while installing, servicing, repairingor operating any equipment or product that contains or depends on any controlled substance, vent the controlled substance into the atmosphere. (2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding four million leones or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding one year or to both the fine and imprisonment.
