No. 13 National Drugs Control (Amendment) Act 200898 The National Drugs Control Act, 2008 is amended as follows:– (a) by the insertion of the following:–

This Act shall come into operationon a date to be fixed by the President by statutory instrument”.; (b) by renumbering the existing section 1 as section 1A; and (c) by substituting for the expression “section 1” wherever it appears in the Act, the expression “section 1A”. “Commencement.
