The Mines and Minerals Act, 1994 is amended by theinsertion immediately after section 107 thereof, of the following:-
107A. An exporter of dimension stones shall, before the
exportation, pay to the National Revenue
Authority as export levy on every twenty cubic
metres of such stones or part thereof, the leone
equivalent of US$ 500”.
