Section 39, The Crown Lands Ordinance, 1960

Every police officer or other person in uniform appointedfor that purpose in writing by the Director of Surveys and Lands may arrest any person who is found Cutting any wood or thing or felling trees on or occupying or using any Crown land, unless such person holds a licence or other authority for that purpose under this Ordinance.
